I write, and take photographs.
My first book of poems, Afterletters, was published by BookThug in 2014. A second book, Inspecting Nostalgia, was published by Talonbooks in 2017. My poems have also appeared online and in print at ditch, e-ratio, The Puritan, (parenthetical), the Literary Review of Canada, and PRISM international.
My photographs have been shown as part of the CONTACT photography festival in Toronto in 2009 and 2011, at several shows at the Gladstone Hotel in Toronto from 2008 to 2011, and can be found in numerous private collections. In the past few years my photographic work has mostly moved to Instagram, and consists largely of cat pictures. (I blame this on my Chris Marker obsession.)
I wrote a piece about my writing routine over at My (small press) Writing Day which could be thought of as a lengthy extension of this page.
I live in Toronto, and can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org
